Just like in the last two seasons, the Montreal Canadiens are greatly affected by injuries. Indeed, Kirby Dach will miss the entire season, while Alex Newhook and Rafael Harvey-Pinard will also be out for a significant part of the year.

Moreover, in the last few hours, a photo of number 15 was published on social media and it's very concerning. We can see the Tricolore forward with a walking boot and a device to help him walk, ensuring he puts no weight on his left leg.
Ouch! Let's just say it's rather worrying!
Remember, the organization mentioned at the beginning of December that Newhook should miss 10 to 12 weeks of action due to a left ankle sprain. However, seeing this image, we are right to wonder if the 22-year-old might miss the rest of the regular season, as he clearly seems to be in bad shape.
With the Canadiens' recent success, we really hope he recovers quickly in the hopes of giving a serious boost to Martin St-Louis' men for the playoff race. The former Colorado Avalanche had started to find his offensive groove before his injury, having scored five points in his last seven games.
However, we are very happy to see that he is keeping his spirits up despite this bad news, having taken the time to chat with some fans during his visit to Newfoundland.
Here is the photo in question:
