According to his close friend Maxime Talbot, Sidney Crosby might consider finishing his career somewhere other than Pittsburgh.

Talbot, who won the Stanley Cup alongside Crosby, wonders if the Penguins' captain will remain loyal to the team that drafted him.
He noted that team morale was low after Jake Guentzel's trade and that Crosby could leave Pittsburgh.
Despite the Penguins' absence from the playoffs in the last two seasons, Crosby, who played every game, has been an undeniable leader.
"I don't really know. But I don't think he'll leave. I was there the day after they traded Guentzel, and morale wasn't high. I would never have bet that they would make the playoffs and be just two points away from them.

Malkin was saying, 'Max, Max!' He was demoralized." - Maxime Talbot

With one year remaining on his current contract, the coming months will be crucial in determining his future. Talbot, who has a close relationship with Crosby, believes this possibility should not be ruled out. Crosby's potential departure from Pittsburgh could have significant implications for both him and the team.
