A significant development has just occurred regarding the NHL Commissioner, Gary Bettman, as his resignation is seriously demanded by a big name in the hockey world.

One of the most influential player agents in the industry, Adam Walsh, has directly attacked Bettman's position, demanding his departure in connection with a recent controversy related to the consequences of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE).
"It's time for everyone with an interest in the game to demand that Gary Bettman be removed from his position as NHL Commissioner. His persistent denial of CTE is unacceptable. Owners, players, media, and fans have the collective power to demand his resignation.

How many more times, Gary?" - Allan Walsh

In recent days, a former enforcer in the league, Chris Simon, tragically lost his life, deciding to end his suffering due to major repercussions related to head hits and fights.
Sadly, he is another among several who have also gone through this in recent years.
The most disappointing part of this story is that Bettman's right-hand man, Bill Daly, was questioned on the subject recently, and his response was completely unacceptable.
"I think science still does not have the answers" - Bill Daly

The league continues to deny the link between CTE and the hits taken by players, which is extremely regrettable, and this has fueled the anger of many people across the league, including Walsh.
