As the Philadelphia Flyers are visiting the Bell Centre tonight, the head coach of the Canadiens, Martin St-Louis, has made a surprising decision and he can count on a quality reinforcement.

Samuel Montembeault will be in goal

Despite an excellent performance last Sunday against the New York Rangers, Cayden Primeau will give his spot to Samuel Montembeault as the starting goalie tonight.
The 27-year-old from Quebec will try to redeem his somewhat lukewarm performance on Saturday against the Toronto Maple Leafs, which earned him a mid-game withdrawal by St-Louis, in favor of Primeau.

It's now confirmed for Christian Dvorak

Good news has emerged in the Canadiens' camp, with the confirmation of Christian Dvorak's return to the game for the duel against the Flyers, his first match in 2024.
It's a nice surprise, given that the organization had initially announced that his season was over a few months ago.
Christian Dvorak will be back in the game tonight against the Flyers.
He will play his first match in 2024, his first since December 30.

In 25 games this season, the 28-year-old center has scored three goals and obtained seven points.

Jesse Ylonen and Colin White are the two players cut from the lineup by St-Louis.
