Following their 5-2 victory over the Washington Capitals last night, Martin St-Louis's team learned some rather bad news.

Indeed, although they were supposed to return to Montreal after the game, they are stuck in the United States.
As Renaud Lavoie mentioned, there was a problem with the plane that was supposed to bring the team back to Canada, forcing the officials to book hotel rooms very late on Tuesday evening.

Ouch! It's rather unusual for such a scene to happen.
Fortunately, the Canadiens players had a day off today, and they will possibly take a new flight in the next few hours to return home.
Moreover, given that the next game is only on Saturday afternoon against the Dallas Stars, this mishap should not have serious consequences on the team's preparation for this meeting.
