Every year, a few new names emerge in the restricted free agent market when teams choose not to issue qualifying offers.

Eric Stephens of The Athletic suggests that the Kings should not renew the contracts of wingers Carl Grundström and Arthur Kaliyev next season.
Although surprising, seeing 22-year-old Kaliyev released by the organization would be slightly unexpected.
Stephens highlights his struggles in the last season, with only seven goals and 15 points in 51 games.
Similarly, Grundström, 26, may not receive a qualifying offer due to his arbitration eligibility, potentially allowing the Kings to save salary cap space.
With around $19.9 million in cap space, the Kings are looking to strengthen their roster, likely paying close attention to promising restricted free agent Quinton Byfield, who tallied 20 goals and 55 points in the past season.
