While the last few weeks have been relatively quiet in the NHL, everything is suddenly moving very quickly now.

Indeed, the Philadelphia Flyers have traded defenseman Sean Walker to the Colorado Avalanche in return for a first-round pick and centerman Ryan Johansen.
With this trade, Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens now know what to expect regarding David Savard. The organization could officially get a first-round pick for its veteran if it agrees to take on a bad contract in return.
