In the last few minutes, we've learned significant news about a goaltender from the organization!

Indeed, journalist Kevin Dubé has just confirmed that young Quentin Miller, a fourth-round pick in the last draft, has officially been traded by the Quebec Remparts and will join the Rimouski Océanic in the coming days.

"Rumors had been circulating for a while, but it's now confirmed. Canadiens prospect and Remparts goalie Quentin Miller will move to the Rimouski Océanic in the coming days." - Kevin Dubé

The Montreal-born goaltender is having a more challenging season this year as the Quebec Remparts had traded away several talented young players to acquire 20-year-old veterans for their Memorial Cup run.

However, this trade will undoubtedly help him rebound, as the Rimouski Océanic is currently ranked 8th in the LHJMQ with a record of 16 wins, 15 losses, and 3 overtime defeats. Notably, Quentin Miller may still play one last game with the Remparts on December 28, even though the trade is already completed.

"The Journal finally obtained confirmation that the final point of the transaction had been placed and that Miller will become a member of the Océanic on December 29. He was informed Monday night. Miller will have the opportunity to play one last game in front of his fans at the Vidéotron Centre on December 28. [...] The Remparts will notably acquire the Océanic's first and second-round picks in 2025, as well as a player to be confirmed later." - Kevin Dubé

The Canadiens prospect will have the opportunity to help his new team make a significant run in the playoffs. He was simply sensational last year, recording a goals-against average of 2.11 and a save percentage of 0.911.

There is no doubt that this change of scenery will be highly beneficial for him and will be crucial in the continuation of his development.
