Today, the Chicago Blackhawks announced that Rem Pitlick has been placed on waivers. This development occurred shortly after his cousin, Tyler, was also put on waivers.

Pitlick, who was acquired by the Blackhawks through a waiver claim from the Pittsburgh Penguins, has previously been a part of the Montreal Canadiens, Minnesota Wild, and Nashville Predators organizations since his draft in 2016.

Many will remember when Pitlick served as the Canadiens' 1C, in the peak of the Ducharme era.

Despite facing challenges in securing a permanent spot, it is hoped that his tenure with Chicago will aid his career progression.
