The Montreal Canadiens have reached terms on a three-season entry-level contract with young defenseman Adam Engström. Engström tallied 22 points in 51 games with Rögle BK this season, ranking second among defensemen on his team. He also contributed four assists in the playoffs, helping his team secure the silver medal in the SHL.
