The suspense is at its peak for the draft picks of the four teams preceding the Canadiens. Who will have the privilege of being chosen by these teams before the Habs make their fifth pick?

With the announcement that the Habs hold the fifth pick in the draft, speculations are running wild. It appears that Cayden Lindstrom is the current favorite for Montreal, but nothing is set in stone.
The Canadiens are prioritizing a forward, or even a right-handed defenseman, considering the possibility that Artyom Levshunov, the top right-handed defenseman, may already be selected.
Despite a pool of available forwards, Cole Eiserman does not seem to be in the Canadiens' plans, according to information from Mathias Brunet on his podcast Processus. His attitude, deemed inflexible and one-dimensional, seems to be a hindrance for the team.
The Canadiens' preference for a positive and adaptable attitude is emphasized, as was the case with Matvei Michkov in 2023.
