As every Monday, the National Hockey League announced its three stars of the week.

Since the Montreal Canadiens haven't had much success in recent years, both at the team and individual levels, it was rare to see a player from the organization among this ranking.

However, for the first time in a long while, we've just learned that Nick Suzuki has been chosen as the league's third star, with a haul of four goals and six points in three games. Wow!

He was the best player in the NHL over the last week, as two goaltenders precede him in first and second place, namely Jacob Markstrom and Sergei Bobrovsky.

The CH's number 14 is on track to have his most productive season at 24 years old. He totals 17 goals and 48 points in 52 games this season, which would give him a campaign of 27 goals and 76 points if he maintains the pace until the end.

Congratulations to our Habs captain!
