Renaud Lavoie was very talkative during his last appearance on BPM Sports' airwaves. After defending Cole Caufield regarding his nightlife, the journalist has revealed a scoop about a former Canadien.

He set the record straight regarding several stories about some CH players' outings to bars, including Caufield.
It's absolutely not a problem to enjoy life and go to bars, as long as it's done reasonably, which is exactly the case with the sharpshooter.
This is precisely what Lavoie wanted to clarify and address. He even shared a story that had never made noise until now.

A party story involving Nathan Beaulieu resurfaces

"Nathan Beaulieu, there, the Canadiens win on a Saturday night at the Bell Centre, and it's his birthday. He goes out to a bar in Montreal, and Sunday is a day off.

Yes, it's a party, a real party, it's his birthday party.

But someone decides to film this, puts it on social media, and then everyone says it's not okay.

After that, Nathan Beaulieu found himself in the office on Monday morning, and he got a talking to... But I mean, what did he do wrong?

His team won, it's his birthday on a Saturday night, OK he went a bit overboard in the way he celebrated his party, but we would have never known if there hadn't been a cell phone around to film it." - Renaud Lavoie

The TVA Sports journalist also adds that today's players are much more quiet and conscientious than before, and we fully agree with Lavoie's comments.
