Canadiens Announce Kirby Dach Has Begun Travelling With the Team

Indeed, the organization has officially confirmed that forwards Kirby Dach and Christian Dvorak have joined the team for the five-game trip out West.

This is an excellent move by the Canadiens, as it gives them the chance to be with their teammates even though they are currently dealing with injuries.

It should be noted that both centermen have made incredible progress in their rehabilitation. Are they accompanying the team because they might potentially make a return to the ice by the last game of the trip, which is on March 26th against the Colorado Avalanche?

Given that both players have been training for several weeks already, the possibility of them rejoining the lineup in the near future seems increasingly realistic.

Recall that during a recent press conference, Kirby Dach had mentioned his desire to defy the doctors' prognosis in hopes of returning to play this season to participate in a few games with the Canadiens before the end of the 2023-2024 campaign.

Certainly, it seems he is on track to accomplish such a feat, and it is extremely encouraging to see them with the rest of the team like this.

It's likely that Martin St-Louis would be very pleased to get reinforcement at the center position in the coming weeks, especially since he has sometimes struggled to line up four centers in his lineup during recent games.

While some prospects of the organization, such as David Reinbacher, Lane Hutson, and Logan Mailloux, could join the big club in the near future, Kirby Dach and maybe even Christian Dvorak could also make a return to play.

Even if the Canadiens are eliminated from a playoff spot, the end of the season could turn out to be quite interesting for fans of the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge.
