During the Montreal Canadiens' practice earlier this afternoon, bad news emerged involving newcomer Colin White.

During a drill, the number 36 of the Canadiens took a bad fall, crashing directly into the net defended by Jake Allen. Clearly in pain, the 27-year-old center immediately had to leave the practice, heading back to the team's locker room.

It is hoped that the former Pittsburgh Penguins player is not suffering from a serious injury, as Martin St-Louis currently has only three other centers in his lineup, namely Nick Suzuki, Alex Newhook, and Jake Evans.
It's worth noting that the 21st overall pick in the 2015 draft was recently claimed off waivers by General Manager Kent Hughes. Since joining the organization, Colin White has been unable to find his way onto the scoresheet in five games, posting a +1 differential.
In 308 NHL games, the Boston native has accumulated 44 goals and 69 assists for a total of 113 points.
