After John Parker-Jones yesterday, another tough young forward has just left the Montreal Canadiens organization.

Riley McKay, a rugged player from the Laval Rocket, will not be returning this season. He has signed with the Las Vegas Golden Knights in the American Hockey League for the 2024-25 season, as announced by the Laval Rocket and the Henderson Silver Knights.
McKay, known for his toughness on the ice, departs Montreal after two seasons with Laval. He was valued for his physical presence and protective role towards younger teammates.
At 25 years old, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 203 pounds, McKay has amassed a significant number of penalty minutes throughout his career in the WHL and with the Rocket.
This decision marks the departure of a key player for the team, as he moves on to a new organization where he will continue to showcase his skills on the ice.
