MAJOR: Marie-Philip Poulin Leaves the Canadiens Organization

Big news was announced recently, and it seems to have slipped through the cracks.

No official confirmation has been declared to this effect, but it appears that it might be the end of Marie-Philip Poulin's association with the Montreal Canadiens, at least for now.

During her appearance on the show Tout le monde en parle last Sunday, the main subject herself made the important announcement by stating that she had left her job with the Tricolore organization.

She mentioned that this job was only part-time, and that the creation of the new league has changed plans by providing her with a full-time occupation.

«Last night on Tout le monde en parle, Louis Morissette asked Marie-Philip Poulin if the CH was still her employer, if she still had time.

''No. When I signed, it was part-time. This league that has just started allows me to play full-time.''» - Pat Laprade

This quite clearly indicates that she should not be returning to the CH's environment in her role as a player development consultant.

However, it is possible that this could only be postponed until she retires from professional hockey.
